Recently, a group of 15 girls in Years 3 to 6 travelled to the Walter Nash Stadium to play in a Girls Only Futsal Tournament. The emphasis was on participation, enthusiasm and having fun!

There were 2 grades – Years 3/4 and Years 5/6. The girls enjoyed many hard-fought games and got better and better as the games went on. They were well-supported by a good number of family members. After the games, the girls were able to get signed posters of the women’s Phoenix team.

A highlight was Te Ruhi from Room 7 being chosen for her enthusiastic play and getting free tickets for a Phoenix game.
